Appointed as Main contractor DDK Projects, we have vast experience and understand the complexities of food and speciality manufacturing and the importance of standards that must be met. We were responsible for the design and construction of the complicated installation and its integration with the client’s existing and ongoing production requirements.

Cost contract and Quantity Surveying services were provided by Saunders Quantity Surveyors whose approach to quantity surveying places an emphasis on achieving value for money, while delivering service excellence. Saunders managed the production of JCT contracts and the agreement of a negotiated firm price with DDK and provided cost monitoring and construction phase QS support through to completion. Their highly skilled and effective surveyors combine traditional surveying skills, honed over decades, with tailored tools and systems, to provide an exceptional level of service. Their client repeat business rate exceeds 95%.

This was a highly successful project and delivered a complicated integrated food production facility, within an existing building to time, cost and quality.

Butternut Box already operates in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland. This project significantly enhances their ability to deliver top end product in the UK.
