I’ve worked in food manufacturing since the very start of my professional career, progressing to capital projects and construction after completing an electrical engineering apprenticeship.
I have the benefit of experiencing project work as a client and a contractor, a unique offering within the food construction sector that gives me perspective from both sides enabling me to bridge the gap between client and contractor in delivering world class facilities and genuinely understanding expectations.
For over 15 years I’ve been dedicated to delivering high end, best in class projects for food manufacturers throughout the UK and USA. Projects have included:
- Effluent treatment facilities
- Boning operations
- Ready meal facilities
- Food to go facilities
- Abattoir operations
- Warehouse storage facilities
- Bakery fit outs
- Prepared meal facilities
- Demolition / re-modelling / internal fit out of food facilities
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Tim over the last 7 years. I’ve found him both totally engaging with in the client and their team but also offering the emotional intelligence that helps tackle difficult items on some very large capex projects with correct care and mutual respect. We worked with Tim directly on one of the UK’s largest single chilled food (short shelf life) new sites with capex in excess of £30m. So impressed with how Tim grasped the client needs, understanding of the sensitivities whilst sharing a subject matter expertise that gave us all confidence. We were so impressed by Tim’s personal contribution we subsequently requested he work on another state of the art capex development and support the main board proposal for further site development opportunities in the East of England.
