Following Delivery, DDK’s journey with you does not end with the completion and handover of your project.
Our Sustain phase continues to work hands-on with your Team utilising relevant best-in-class processes and tools to ensure all operational objectives and targets of the project are successfully and sustainably achieved, ensuring your Team is operating in their new environment with confidence, knowledge and ultimately full engagement and ownership.
Core Project
Equipment Commissioning & Performance
Following successful delivery and installation of equipment and processes in the Delivery Phase, an early part of the Sustain phase is to ensure all aspects of the pre-Defined functional and performance specifications are successfully and sustainably achieved.
This includes full training and awareness for your Operational Teams in the operation and maintenance (inc. spares) of this equipment, coupled with performance trials to test and demonstrate the functional performance of the equipment to specification.
Aftercare & Support
Whilst DDK will have successfully achieved Practical Completion and handover of your project by the end of the Deliver phase, DDK’s journey with the Client does not need to end here.
If you choose to use DDK through the sustain phase, we will continue to support your Team as they settle into the new facility through the warranty and defects period (and beyond), dealing first-hand with warranty matters, supported by all relevant documentation.
Project Governance & Structure
Programme Management (Governance & Reporting)
The focus of governance and reporting of the project now shifts and is tailored to reviewing, measuring and signing off with all stakeholders achieving the pre-Defined operational and organisational targets and objectives of the project.
Client Resource Support
DDK continue to provide all defined areas of project management and support resource.
This is further enhanced with skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement resource (see below) as required to Sustainably deliver the project goals and objectives.
Comms Plan (Internal & External Stakeholders)
The project Comms Plan continues through the Sustain phase, and is again tailored and focused to report upon progress in achieving project targets and objectives during this phase.

DDK underpin the successful and sustainable achievement with you of all defined project targets and objectives through provision of skilled and experienced CI resource during Sustain.
This resource works with, guides and trains your Team in relevant CI tools and techniques to ensure project objectives and targets are not only achieved through performance trials, but sustained for the future.
Carbon footprint optimisation
DDK uses its proprietary Carbon Analysis Models to assess an accurate Optimised Operational Carbon Footprint (OOCF) and applies its Low Carbon Counter Strategy to reduce the OOCF over time, ultimately reducing Scope 1 operational carbon.
